Another Country?
We had a precious time together on Sunday 4th October with just a quarter of the church present under COVID-19 conditions. One could imagine we were a small group of believers in another country, taking care not to huddle or be too conspicuous. Certainly not our usual ‘norm’.
Nevertheless, we were able to enjoy a super service provided for us by Clayton TV (from Jesmond Parish Church) in which we learnt from the letter to the Hebrews about Christ being both our High Priest and the Sacrifice for our sins. We then heard a message about Paul describing how our bodies are like tents, but one day we will have new bodies and live in our Father’s mansion. We were encouraged to look forward to that time when we will be with Him forever.
